Here are some backstage pics from the fashion show :-) We walked on the ground floor @ Auchan, and Pimkie ( a shop ) let us use their changing rooms for the preparation and changing clothes. Some of the clothes I wore were really ugly (from Auchan supermarket too hahahah) but I made the skirt shorter, closed the leather jacket so the top doesn't show and I think it looked pretty decent in the end :D Anyway, my parents took a lot of pics and also the organizers did, so hopefully I'll be able to post some of the actual work photos. Altogether I walked 72 times, because the "catwalk" was on the ground and it wasn't super long, each time we had to walk twice :)

An impulse buy, this H&M jacket.. It's a really soft material, and it was on sale.. why not? Love the way it looks on me, the picture doesn't do it justice ):
Had to buy a nude colored bra for the fashion show.. Just found a cheap one at H&M. While I was searching for it, the guy who works there (it's the one in town with DIVIDED), the stylish one who is always downstairs, asked me if I've been in Luxuriant magazine for Extrabold. I love it when I get recognized, it's definitely a confidence boost for the whole day!

Since this is a scheduled post, right now I'm at LMFAO concert, hopefully having fun :D

This is a scheduled post, but right now I'm finishing the fashion show at AUCHAN (yes!). I didn't want to reveal the location earlier, because I was quite nervous for it and I didn't want too many people to show up. Since it's a scheduled post, I don't know how the show went, whether I tripped, lost consciousness or what, but let's hope for the best x) If everything went according to the plan and I'm still conscious and healthy, I'm soon on my way to Rockhal where I'm gonna see LMFAO. The other acts will be Far East Movement, Natalia Kills, some DJs.. Have you heard LMFAO's new song? "Sorry for party rocking"? It's the first time I hear it.. Don't know if I like it yet.. :-)

Good morning! I'm getting ready for the show.. Starving but have no time to eat, so hopefully I'll be able to have some breakfast at the mall, otherwise I'll probably collapse during the show :S I've planned a few scheduled posts for later in the day, because I have plans after the show, therefore won't be home til sometime during the night.
Oh, by the way, the busdrivers in Luxembourg are ASSHOLES! There, I said it. Last night I missed two buses because of them. I could've been home at 12 and got 6 hours of sleep, but instead I was home after 1 (my dad picked me up in the end), and got only 4 and a half hours of sleep, since I spent a long time feeling angry before going to sleep :p For the last bus during the day/evening I went 5 MINUTES EARLY. Now, let me tell you, it never comes early. As I was walking, I saw it drive to the busstop, so I ran (glamorous look - trench coat, black skinny jeans, black ballerinas and running like a dog hahahah), but he just drove past :S Then I waited for the first nightbus which would come at 00:15, and I waited in the nightbus busstop but when the bus arrived, it drove to the busstop it's supposed to drive during the day, which is like 100m away and I, as a human being, couldn't possibly make it there in a few seconds until he drove away again?! yeah. I feel much better now, hah.
Anyway, I gotta get going. I'm kind of nervous, but mostly hungry. Bye!

Zara heels

Thanks for all the tips on which heels to choose! Today I went heel hunting. Turns out that the 2nd and last pair are not available yet, and my favorites (the pair with jewels) are too high for me to confidently walk on a catwalk. The 4rd pair I tried on but...there was just no chemistry, you know ? In the end I was hesitating between the first pair and these ones. The first pair were strange.. they're not well built.. It feels like the heel moves when you walk. Or something. In the end I went for these. They probably don't look comfortable or easy to walk in because of the skinny metal gold heel, but they were the perfect ones, I think :D They're simple enough to put with any outfit (I don't know yet what I'll wear in the fashion show), but they do have a little twist. As you can see on the first picture, they also have a platform = bonus points! They're not my usual style, so I will either grow on them with time, or sell them after the show.
Plus, they were just 50 euros, cheaper than most of the other ones I considered, so I did some extra shopping in the end, hahah : )

I wore my new Primark shorts today.. :-) I'm so happy about them! The wedges hurt my feet a lot, because I did so much walking today, so I'm soooo glad I had some spare ballerinas with me! (which also hurt my feet, just less....)
Tomorrow, I'm for sure working in ballerinas, instead of heels, to save my poor feet for the fashion show on Saturday.. :D

This Saturday I'm walking in a big fashion show and I need to find some heels for it.. I could use the ones they lend me, but I want my own, to make sure they're not too big or too small... They need to be light colored because the show will be for the Spring/Summer collections. I was looking at the heels @ Zara.com and I found a few. They're all really pricey so I need to make sure they're heels which I'll wear afterwards as well :p I don't know which ones to take though... What do you think? My favorite are the ones with the jewels, but they're also the most expensive, at 90euro.. The top right ones are really nice too, but too plain for 70 euro, don't you think? The very first ones are nice too, but somehow I'm not very sure..
I like all of them, but can't choose, so please help me : )
I will probably also check some cheap shops in town and gare for some heels, but if I don't find anything, I'm buying one of these!

Heyhey :-) Tonight I'm working @ Coco Mango in the Sofitel, it's a really exclusive hotel in Luxembourg. I've never been inside, even though the bar is very popular in the nightlife. They will hold the presentation party for the new drink Jimmy's (at M Club it was an introduction party).

By the way, sorry that I didn't upload the shopping video yesterday. I spontaneously went out and completely forgot. Ended up turning off my laptop mid-loading process, so I'm loading it again now. It should hopefully be up before I leave the house :)

Good morning! Today, for the first time in my life, I will vote! The thing is that after the war, there is still a big percentage of russians in Latvia, and during the last year, they somehow got the stupid idea that they need to make russian the second official language in Latvia. They collected all the signatures in order to make a referendum to vote YES or NO for russian as the second official language. First of all, it's a completely absurd idea. It's 2012, HELLO?! Why try to take over a country again?! The latvian language is in no way similar to russian language, they are two completely different cultures. It's predicted that the russian language probably won't go through as an official language, but only IF ALL the latvians get their asses up and vote against it! Otherwise all the russians will vote YES, and the latvians will just stay home (it's a latvian thing, not to go to vote, because they think it won't change anything anyway - typical to the old generation in Latvia). Me and my family are going to vote today, because they've also given us the opportunity in Luxembourg. I really hope all the latvians that read my blog and are over 18 will vote. Otherwise you suck! :D Bye.

Since I worked at the party for Jimmy's, I got to taste a lot of them, and I really liked it, because it's a very sweet drink and I'm a girl with a sweet tooth :D it's supposed to be mixed with vodka to lessen the sweetness, but I prefer without the alcohol :-) Anyway, since I took a couple of them home, I thought I could make a little preview, since the drink officially only comes out in a couple of months.
By the way, in the second picture I have completely greasy hair, make up from the previous day, etc, so it took a while to make a decent picture of me drinking it, and by the time I finally got this picture, I had already drank everything, haha :(

Hey blog :-) Sorry for the poor update, but I've been very busy! On Friday night I worked at M Club, started at 10 and finished at 4 AM. Even though it was very tiring, it was really fun and sometimes I enjoy being one of the people who works and earns money at a party rather than one of the people that parties and wastes money at the same time :P My job was to give out shots at the entrance, and there were so many people who said they will only take a shot if I take a shot with them, so in the end I had had like 20 shots or more but I wasn't even drunk :D On Saturday I went to City Concorde, then to Heleret's place for a muffin party with my girls and then I went to cinema with someone at night to watch Sherlock Holmes. Today I woke up early, exercised (my back is calling for help!!!), and then I went to tutor some kids in English. That's a summary of my weekend, I haven't spent a minute on the computer until now : ) Anyways, I'm now reading a book for Language 1 and tidying my room, so I better get going. Will schedule another post for tonight. xo

Today was a very cold winters day, so I wore all my warmest clothes but it didn't stop me from freezing my nose and ears off :D On days like this I honestly don't care how I look as long as I'm warm!

Here's the blue dress I ordered from New Look :) it's from the kids section, I took size 164 cm/14 years, but i think I should've taken a smaller one, as strange as it sounds because the dress is a bit too big. The same thing happened with some skirt I once ordered from the kids section, so I think it's a general thing.. Anyway, I've stayed home again today, because I've no exam or school, right now just lying in bed, watching Two and a Half Men and blogging from my phone (: later I'll go shopping for a bit, and then have a driving lesson in the evening.

Today I received a little gift from Naketano :) The dress is a size XS and it fits absolutely perfectly. The material, as always, is so nice against the skin. I have a feeling it'll be overworn in the summer! :D I already tried it with some summer heels, haha :) By the way, the dress has been ironed now, after I took these photos :D

Yesterday my New Look heels (and the rest) arrived! :) The heels are DAMN high, even they might not appear as high, without a platform it's a bit more than 10 cm, but they're really breaking my feet when I walk, unlike my other heels :P Anyway, they're awesome and I'll try to wear them to town when there isn't too much walking outdoors involved :D

Sorry for no update the last two days. I was very tired, always studying or sleeping.. Finally I have time to relax because I have no school and exam for 6 days! Today I slept in a bit, woke up around 9:30 and started tidying my room and getting ready, because I'm gonna meet the girls after their exam and go for lunch (SUSHI :)). In the evening I'm probably going out, to celebrate an Italian friend's birthday :P

EXAM WEEKS

I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but right now I have two exam weeks where I have no school, just exams :P I have an exam every day until Thursday, after which I am absolutely free until Wednesday, again free on Thursday next week and then back to school on Friday next week (and my driving exam). I've got a lot of free time soon, but so far it's very stressing, since these exams will largely affect our final result which will decide whether we get into the uni's we want or not! I'm really stressed, tired 24/7 (fell asleep in my german exam today as well), and as you can see in the pics, I'm sleeping with school papers, hah. Anyway, I could live in these clothes all week, it's so comfortable and nobody cares to dress up for exams (hoodies, sweatpants and big socks are the real deal). Today I had German, which was okay. Tomorrow I have English and I need to prepare because I'll be asked to answer an essay question referencing 3 texts (I'm going to do Blood Brothers, fragment from Taming the Tiger and Clara's Day :P). The exam is 3 hours long, so afterwards I'll just stay in school and study for Maths which is on Thursday.. After studying I have another driving lesson, and I actually really enjoy it now :D That's basically my plan, boring but necessary :D Goodnight! xo

Heyhey! :) The photo is one I took today behind the scenes during my shoot for an online and soon to be published on paper magazine :) My day was pretty random.. I had a Latvian prebac, and it lasted from 9 to 1, so I knew I absolutely NEEDED some candy, went to the store and showed up a bit late to the prebac, the teachers gave me judgmental looks so I just hurried to my seat! The prebac was so long, had to write three essays.. afterwards I went to town for some shopping for myself and my sister's birthday gift (happy birthday!), then I had a driving lesson, and then the shoot. Now I'm home, horribly tired... will download Desperate Housewives new episode and go to bed soon. I'll post some more tonight, though. ♥

I just ordered some things from New Look! This isn't everything, but half :D The chino's are from the kid's department, but I really like them :) I will change the belt though. The dress is also from the kid's department, but I really want to wear a blue dress on the proclamation day so I ordered this, perhaps this dress will be the one :P The black heels are simply a necessity. I also ordered some underwear, a bikini bra and a men's beanie.

Here's a few random photos that me and a friend took at Lunch today :D I was busy all evening as soon as I got home, I had to go to meet the woman of the children who I'll babysit for a "meeting" and when I came home again, I had to take care of a geography presentation, because, typically to me, I took charge, since I obviously don't trust the others in my group enough, I just fear that one of them will mess up and we will all get a bad grade, so I prefer to take charge because I know I'll get the job done and I'll even finish off the other people's things, if that will get me a better mark :S Anyway, I'm really tired now, so I'm going to get some well deserved sleep... Maybe a little summary of my day? In school I studied for my biology prebac any free moment I had, the prebac turned out quite good, I think. Will get it back on Friday, so I don't want to jinx it :D Then I went to Interview with Gabriele and Maria for a drink (since we had basically no social life before this biology prebac), and then I went home. I arranged a meeting with a family tomorrow who want me to babysit their children from time to time, I hope I don't forget to go there haha :D

By the way, I remember the suggestions you gave me for upcoming videos, but I just thought of something. This is my super-simple outfit that I wore yesterday :D Maria came to my place, so when we went back to town for working, we decided to take some quick snaps on the way. I was already wearing the clothes for my job underneath, and needed comfortable shoes for afterwards and a warm coat for walking to the Cercle Cité from Jitrois, where the event was hosted. I didn't actually take these photos for the purpose of an "original" outfit post, it was more to test how my camera works outside, because, after having my camera for exactly one week, I had only taken photos inside, and I was dying to know how it works outside. Personally, I'm satisfied with the quality and the colors, still loving my new camera :) ♥

Last night the work was great! It was, of course, very exhausting having to walk around in heels for 6 hours straight, but it was a nice experience. The guests were mostly russian, and typically, all the women came very dressed up, some were classical and some were really out of the box... :P Our job was to let the people in by checking if their name is on the list, then we had to guide the guests to their tables.. After that, we could eat so I stuffed myself with the pasta and fruit salad that they were giving the people who were working that night, haha :D After that we, in pairs, had to walk around the room with the tables and go to each person and ask them if they want to participate in the lottery. Each ticket was 25 euro, the money went to SOS villages d'enfants which is an organization tat helps children in Russia. The prizes for the lottery were crazy, the toal worth must've been near 100,000 >< Most people bought some tickets, some even bought 6 or more. The most popular was 2 or 4 tickets, so it was pretty often that people gave us 100 euro notes, haha :D they're all so rich :O Anyway, altogether we got 5500 euros, and me, Maria and Marta alone got 2225 euro, almost half, feels awesome, haha :D Then we had to go to the backstage and help the models to zip their clothes, put on their jewellery, etc, because the next part of the entertainment programme was the Jitrois fashion show! When we finally finished, me and Maria went to Interview for a quick drink and that was it, because we were so tired after all this :D

PS: can you imagine that the tops we're all wearing in these photos cost 750euro?!!??!!?!?! still can't get over it :D

I'd have taken proper outfit photos outside in the daylight with Maria, had my camera not ran out of battery at that exact moment, so I had to do some good old mirror photos, because I wanted to show you my new jumper again :D it's so warm, but, unfortunately, still leaves hair everywhere :P
Me and Maria went to Jitrois for a fitting today for the Russian gala on Saturday, and daaamn, we're going to be wearing simple black skirt, black heels and a black Jitrois tank top, that simply says JITROIS. Guess the price of the top? 750 euro, yep, that's right. Craaaaazy! I can't wait for this Saturday though, going to be so nice :D
I will now proceed to take a nap, because I'm tired out of my mind.. and perhaps later tidy my room (as you can see in the photos, it's really necessary) ♥

BAC 2012

Today I took pictures of our wall in the 6th and 7th year room.. It's a tradition that every year the seniors put up a new cardboard and draw/write something.. Last year it was pretty plain and spontaneous but this year we decided to make it more interesting :D I was in charge of the main drawing (the bacman = bac + superman, haha), so I had to organize votes, etc, until we all came to the result and then the school artists began painting :D once the Bacman was finished, we all put our fingerprints with paint around the cardboard (i don't know whose idea it was though), and afterwards we just went crazy with text in all the free white spots, as you can see, haha :) Notice the little guiness glass on the bottom right corner, that's for our Ireland 6th year trip :D Anyway, I love the wall, it's so cool and I'm so proud to be one of the seniors! It's sad that this is the last year though, however I will look at the positive aspects: no more swimming lessons, no more german lessons, no more latvian lessons, etc, :D but yeah, the thought of all of us separating still makes me sad.. damn, stupid dust in my eye (9gaggers will get it) ♥

Pictures from December 2010, more than a year ago!

Today I woke up late, it was stormy and rainy so I just didn't feel like doing anything.. later on, however, I decided to do some school work. I was moderately excited all day long, because I would finally get my new camera, but when we got to the shop in the evening, turns out that they're not in stock and it may take til March to come back in stock because of the floods in Japan...>< damn! It made me so sad.. Might try to order it online, but also they get their stock from Japan, normally..
However, the good news is that tomorrow I'll be busy all day long! It's strange but I like this feeling.. :) First I will drive in the morning, then I will work as a hostess all day until the evening @ Rockhal, and then I'm coming back to Luxembourg town and going out straight afterwards, since there's no time to go home and come back.. :)
I'm excited to work tomorrow, I really can't wait! I'm also most likely going to be a hostess next week Saturday at a Russian gala (if I do it, I'll be wearing leather clothes from Jitrois!!!) Then the 27th of January I'll be working as a hostess at the official presentation of the new drink (the one where I was filmed for the commercial @ Dean).. I'll be giving out free shots all night at M Club, so why not come and see me, haha :D
Now I'm going to head to bed, watch some Two and a Half Men, while eating my milka chocolate, and be excited for tomorrow :D ! Goodnight :) ♥

Today I met Anne-Marie :) It was so nice to catch up with this girl, I mean I see her in school every day, we go to parties together all the time, but it's very very rare when we actually meet up alone and talk.. :)
Other than that, my day wasn't quite the best :D A table mirror fell on my foot and kind of crushed my toe, it literally opened my skin quite deep and it was bleeding so much, the worst thing is that it happened like 25 minutes before I had to leave the house :D
I'm also quite excited because I got a little job offer on Friday, I always get so excited when I get job offers, hah :) ♥

This is what I wore yesterday :) I first met up with Gabriele for a couple of hours, it was great to talk to her again, because recently we haven't had the chance to catch up.. Then I met up with Dino in town/cinema and later I had some drinks with Phil, who worked with me at the court of justice, and his university friends (i knew like half of them), but it was great to meet some new people and, coincidentally, most of them study at the 5 universities that I applied to, so it was really interesting to find out more things from the "insiders", you know :p Later Julien joined, but I had to leave so I only saw him for a few minutes, it's really sad cause it's his birthday and I wasn't aware of it :P But me, Julien and Phil decided that we have to meet up again sometime, and also get Andreas, who also worked at the court, and go for a drink :D
Last night my parents came back from Paris, it's nice because I missed my brother, sometimes I feel like a mum to him and when he's away, I'm really worried... They brought me some nice smelling body lotion from the Disneyland shop, heh :)
I don't know what the plan is for today, I might go to town for a while but I also need to do some homework (I've been doing it bit by bit, so that I don't need to do everything on the last day before school). I'm not sure if I'll go out tonight, since I'm going out tomorrow for New Years eve and I want to party HAAARD and enjoy my last New Years eve with all my friends here in one place, since next year we all go off to universities! :(

My driving lesson went very good today, I felt like a boss and I realized that I actually prefer driving too fast than too slow, which is contrary to what it was before :P I can't wait to get my licence, I wouldn't even mind becoming a taxi for my friends for a while, hah :) If you look carefully at the photos, you might notice the pink heart-shaped earrings, they're made of pink crystals and I got them for Christmas.
